Beth Ford, B.S.
Program Manager

Beth wants to live in a world filled with laughter, books that come bundled with chocolate and a force field around children that repels drug abuse and bullies.
As a program manager with more than 10 years of experience, she’s worked for the Dothan-Houston County Substance Abuse Partnership to help educate youth on the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and bullying. After obtaining her bachelors of science at Troy State University, she set out to help keep our children educated and making the best choices they can.
When she’s not teaching or working on Dancing with the Stars- Dothan Style, you can find her reading, running after her five-year-old son, Derek, or watching Auburn football with her husband. War Eagle!!

Terry Grimes, B.S.
Community Outreach Coordinator

Terry Grimes is in his second stint with the DHCSAP, working seven years in his first. After an absence of around seven, he returned in 2015 as community relations manager.
Editor of The Headland Observer for 20 years prior to his first tour of duty, Terry is putting his journalism and people skills together once again in the partnership’s efforts in drug education, life skills and other projects.
“It’s something I really enjoy,” the 1980 graduate of Troy State University said. “I get to write and deal with people, much as I did with the Observer. But here, the results can be so much more important.” It’s also hitting closer to home this time, as he and wife, Camille, have grandchildren to watch after.
“It’s now a very big of my life. I see the stories, the statistics, and older students in the schools, and it makes me look harder at what’s going, seeing things I may not have seen before. It’s bringing all kids closer to me.”
